Piano Depot′s parent company, Play It Again Sam′s Pianos & Organs, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Herb and Robin Young in Ormond Beach, FL. Opened as a consignment piano and organ store in a 1570 square foot shopping center store front, Play It Again Sam′s eventually moved two times in the same plaza to larger spaces.

In the spring of 2005, the Young′s made an agreement to acquire a 4300 square foot warehouse type building just 2 miles south in Holly Hill, FL. After 6 months of renovating the building, the store was relocated to Holly Hill and is now doing business as Piano Depot.

The name change came as a result of several factors. Many customers have told us that they thought our name (Play It Again Sam′s) indicated that we only sold pre-owned pianos. While we continue to facilitate the re-sale of hundreds of pianos on a consignment basis for clients, we also sell new pianos by Hailun, General Music and Pearl River.

We still feature a large and ever-changing inventory of pre-owned acoustic and digital pianos by some of the world′s leading manufacturers. Pianos by Steinway, Kawai, Baldwin, Yamaha, Young Chang, Roland and many others are usually available at Piano Depot.

In addition, our core business has shifted primarily to acoustic and digital pianos. Our new building has 16 foot high ceilings (great for sound) and with a “big box” warehouse feel. Thus the name, Piano Depot.

What has not changed is our commitment to providing quality musical products and superior service in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Piano Depot is family owned and operated and our staff of administrative, sales, education and technical professionals look forward to assisting you soon.
